GS Announcement of PhD Dissertation Defense

Purpose:

This form exists to allow a student to have their dissertation evaluated for quality and originality.

Workflow:

First, the form goes to the Student to fill out, then a Graduate School signing group that will review the form and initial it.

Overall Process:

• The student first needs to enter the graduate program and location that they are enrolled in. 
• Then they enter the form to fill out, attach their abstract, specify their dissertation date, time and title. 
• They will also list their Graduate Faculty members that are participating in the defense, as well as the program’s chair.
• Once they finish filling that out, it goes to the Graduate School signing group to look over and initial at the bottom.
• Once they initial, the form gets saved in ImageNow and the process is complete.
