How do I give access to my Class Collaborate session to non-UMBC participants?

With the Class Collaborate Ultra, guests will be able to join the room - if you allow them to do so.

  1. Go to Other Bb Tools → Class Collaborate Ultra

    • You can also go to the Control Panel -> Course Tools → Class Collaborate Ultra.

  2. The Collab dashboard for your course will display.


     

  3. You can either use the Course Room or create a session. See this FAQ -> How can I create a custom session in Class Collaborate? 

  1. Click on the contextual menu located on the far right. It is identified by a circle with three horizontal dots:

  2. Select Copy Guest Link.

     

    Copy the guest link from the Course Room
    Copy the guest link from the Course Room




  3. A unique Guest Link will appear.

  4. Copy the link and provide it via email to your guests.

  5. Optional: Provide the phone number and PIN to guests to dial in to an audio-only.

NOTE: If you do not see a guest link, you must enable it.

  1. After creating a session, click on the contextual menu located on the far right.

  2. Select Copy Guest Link.


  3. A unique Guest Link will appear.

  4. Copy the link and provide it via email to your guests.

  5. Optional: Provide the phone number and PIN to guests to dial in to an audio-only.
