How do I download Blackboard test or survey responses to a file?





NOTE: All responses to surveys are anonymous. Any downloaded survey data cannot be aligned to user identities.

Tell Me

  1. From the Control Panel, click Grade Center.

  2. Click the column heading for the test or survey.

  3. Click Download Results.

  4. Click Submit.

  5. Your browser will prompt you to Open or Save the file. Click Save.

  6. Save the file on your computer.

  7. When you open up the file in Microsoft Excel, you’ll see the following columns for each assessment question:

    1. Question ID

    2. Question

    3. Answer

    4. Possible points

    5. Auto score

    6. Manual score

  8. If you’re downloading Test results, you’ll also see columns tying responses to students’ identities:

    1. Username

    2. Last Name

    3. First Name
