How do I show or hide Original Blackboard Grade Center columns?
Show Me
Tell Me
The fastest way to hide a grade center column is to click the action arrow for the column itself and select Hide from Instructor View. However, this will only hide it from your view of the grade center. If you want to hide it from students, you must first select Hide from Students before hiding it from yourself.
Hiding or Showing Multiple Columns
Hidden columns will appear grayed out on the Organize Grade Center page. If you are searching for missing grade center columns to reveal again, the faded names will be a good indicator.
If you want to hide multiple columns at the same time or if you want to show / reveal a previously hidden column, please follow these steps.
Go to the Full Grade Center from your course Control Panel.
Click the Manage button from the menu.
Select Column Organization.
Select the check boxes of the Grade Center columns to be shown or hidden.
Locate the Show/Hide button at both the top and bottom of the Column organization page – it does not matter which one you use, but they are located in both positions for your convenience.
Select Hide Selected Columns from the dropdown menu to hide columns.
If you want to show columns, then select Show Selected Columns.
Click Submit to save changes. You MUST include this step to apply the changes to the grade center.
