How to Accept Credit Card Payments

We can accept credit card payments at the library. UMBC accepts all types of credit cards: Visa, Master, Discover, American Express. Debit Cards and PayPal are not accepted.

1. A Credit Card Payment form should be completed and signed by a card holder and mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the library. A cardholder's signature has to be there. The forms without a signature are not accepted.

2. A&R staff person completes a regular deposit transmittal form with a deposit amount shown on the appropriate line for credit card payments.

3. A completed Credit Card Payment form received from a card holder should be attached. Please make a separate deposit transmittal form for each cardholder.

4. No receipt from a receipt book is necessary.

5. A credit card payment receipt will be received at the cashier's office. It could be mailed or faxed over to a cardholder by a request.
