How do I fix my time zone in Blackboard?
How do I fix my time zone in Blackboard?
The time zone is set automatically by data from your internet browser. In courses, the time zone for due dates and calendar items is responsive to the time zones of the users. Instructors can assign a due date of 11:00PM Eastern time, and a student in the Pacific time zone will see a due date of 8:00PM.
Assignment due date & time appear in Blackboard.
What if my due date times do not match the correct time for my course?
Check both the time and time zone for your device. A device may state 2pm (matching 2pm in Baltimore MD), but it could be set to the incorrect time zone (e.g. Pacific instead of Eastern).
Ensure that you are using a supported browser. In addition, ensure that location settings and third-party cookies are permitted for your browser. Unsupported browsers may not display correct time zones, depending on location settings.
