Students may see an error message when accessing a publisher integration link from Blackboard due to browser or third-party cookie settings.
The text of the error message is: {“code” : “SecurityException” , “message” : “Failed authentication”}
This error is typically due to an issue with the browser and third-party cookie settings. Although often reported by Safari users, this issue occurs with other browsers, too.
Please try using another browser, enable third-party cookies, and allow cross-website tracking in the browser settings. If the error persists, please submit an RT request.
