What is the Sponsored Projects Summary Report - Department Summary?
The Sponsored Projects Summary Report - Department Summary shows the user sponsored project financial information for a selected department or roll-up by project ID for a selected date period.
Who should use this report?
Deans, Chairs, or other users interested in seeing all of the department's grants and their related financial summaries for a specific time period.
Running the Report
Parameters
Accounting Period - Pick a month/year.
Include Inactive Projects? - Select to see active or inactive projects.
Department - Select Department or roll-up.
Fund - Defaults to all funds.
Reading the Report
The first column shows the project number of the award, followed by the PI, and the F&A rate assigned.
Following the dates of the award, there are three columns detailing the current financial summary of the project. Total Award Amount, Total Expended Amount, and Remaining Balance.
Then the same financial data for the selected Accounting Period.
Drill Downs
Project Numbers are drill-able to Sponsored Projects Summary - Project Detail report, which gives a more detailed account of the project's finances.
