How do I connect to the UMBC Residential Wired Network using a PC Running Windows 10?

To use your Windows computer with the UMBC Residential Wired Network, you will first need to find out your network adapter's address (MAC address).

To register your Windows computer for use with the UMBC Residential Wired Network, you'll need to find out your computer's wired ethernet address (MAC Address).
Right-click on the start button and select Command Prompt from the menu.
Type in ipconfig /all and press Enter. This will display your network configuration.
Scroll down to your wired network adapter and look for the values next to "Physical Address," which is your MAC address.
