LEEC Meeting Notes

Present: Pat Garnett, Rachel Shapiro, Simmona Simmons(recorder)

Larry spoke at the beginning of meeting. He noted that the work from this Committee is very important. He wants us to continue to take the lead in setting up learning opportunities for the staff. He is pleased with the previous activities, we have sponsored.

Simmona asked if there were any ideas from the group. We discussed the possibility of doing a training session on Corporate Time. This idea came from Robin. It appears that several staff members do not use it; they think it is only for the librarians. Simmona said she would discuss this idea with LaTanya. Also Simmona noted that a re-visit to SkillSoft may be useful.

New Members: Simmona suggested that we approach others about joining the group. She agreed to contact Robin Martin and Trish Mott. All were in agreement.

The next meeting will be scheduled by the chair, LaTanya West.
