How do I connect my personal computer to my departmental printer?

DoIT does not provide support for connecting personal computers to departmental printers.

If you wish to connect your personal computer, we recommend connecting it via IP Address.

A printer's IP address can typically be found either by printing a configuration sheet. If your printer has a built-in screen, you may also be able to navigate to network settings to find the IP address. Please refer to your printer's manual for more information.

You will need to select, "The printer that I want isn’t listed," in order to be prompted for the IP address.
