To find the MAC (Media Access Control) address in Mac OS X:

1. Open the Finder.

2. Go to Applications, then click on System Preferences.

3. Click Network

4. Click Advanced

5. The number listed as AirPort ID is the MAC address. It should be in the format 00:00:00:00:00:00.
