How do I check how much space is available on my departmental shared Box folder?

While Box does offer users to check their own usage easily in the right-hand sidebar, due to the way departmental shared folders are set up. Box does not offer a way to see how much space is being used in your departmental shared Box folder.

Workaround

You can check to see how much space you're currently using by following the instructions listed below.

1. Navigate to your departmental shared Box folder.

2. Click the drop down arrow to the right of the folder.

3. Select Folder Properties > General Folder Info.

4. The current usage will be listed next to Size.
