How do I install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app on a Mac?
These installation instructions are for UMBC owned devices that don’t already have the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app installed. Please save and close any work you may have open before starting the installation. For license and installation issues, please refer to the Common Adobe Creative Cloud issues guide.
Download the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.
Control-click the installer file (CCDesktopApp_en_US_MACUNIVERSAL.pkg) and select Open. NOTE: If you receive a "can't be opened" error, follow these instructions to open the file and then continue to step 3 below.
Click Continue in the following 3 windows to proceed.
Click Install to start the installation. If you get a prompt for your Mac's credentials, type in the user name and password for your Mac and then click Install Software.
Click Close to complete the installation.
Open and sign in to the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. NOTE: When you open the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app for the first time, it may automatically close and re-open. That is because it is likely updating.
On the left side of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app window, click Apps to see a list of available applications to install on your device or open in your browser.
