How do I sign up to receive emergency alerts?

Tell me

1. Go to http://my.umbc.edu/go/alerts

2. Click Setup Omnilert Alerts.

3. Enter the telephone number you want to receive alerts on your mobile phone AND/OR Enter the email address you want to receive alerts.

4. Click the Add SMS AND/OR Add Email button.

For mobile phone alerts:
The system will send you a Validation Code to this number. You must enter your code on the form before this number will be active.

If you do NOT find your Carrier listed on the drop-down, please contact Omnilert at 1.800.256.9264

Please note: You can only have a maximum of two phone numbers registered for your account.
