This script was written by one of the Unix staff members and basically looks at your account for tmp files, core dumps, Internet browser cache, and prompts you if you want to delete it.
Windows
Reboot the machine into Windows.
Login with your myUMBC username and password.
Click Start -> Programs -> UMBC Tera Term Pro SSH -> GL
Login with your myUMBC username and password.
Type oitcleaner at the Unix prompt.
Respond to the questions with Y or N (case sensitive).
Mac OS X
Go to Applications folder.
Click Utilities folder.
Double-click Terminal program icon.
Type:
ssh username@gl.umbc.edu
at the Unix prompt. Replace the username with your myUMBC ID
Type:
oitcleaner
Respond to the questions with Y or N (case sensitive).
