How do I access OneDrive?
A UMBC OneDrive account is available to all active students, faculty, and staff. UMBC OneDrive access will no longer be available upon leaving UMBC enrollment/employment.
There are multiple ways to access OneDrive. Below is a basic overview of common ways to access your UMBC OneDrive account.
How to access OneDrive in a browser: Sign in here using your UMBC email address.
How to access OneDrive in Windows:
In the Windows Start Menu, search for OneDrive and then click on it to open it.
When OneDrive starts, type in your UMBC email address, click Sign in, and then log in to myUMBC.
If this is your first time using OneDrive, follow the onscreen instructions to setup OneDrive (please refer to this article if you need more details on setting up OneDrive).
"OneDrive - UMBC" can be accessed either from the Windows Start Menu or by clicking the OneDrive icon on the left-hand side of File Explorer.
How to access OneDrive in Mac:
Skip to step 2 if OneDrive is already installed. Otherwise, download OneDrive from here or follow these instructions.
Open OneDrive. NOTE: OneDrive is a cloud icon in the Menu bar. OneDrive is also in the Applications folder and can also be found using Finder.
When OneDrive starts, type in your UMBC email address, click Sign in, and then log in to myUMBC.

How to access OneDrive from mobile devices:
How to access OneDrive from an iPhone or iPad: When the instructions mention to Sign in with the work or school account, you will need to sign in using your UMBC email address.
How to access OneDrive from an Android phone or tablet: When the instructions mention to Sign in with the work or school account, you will need to sign in using your UMBC email address.
