How do I install Microsoft 365 on a Windows device?

 

  1. Sign in here using your UMBC email address.

  2. At the top right corner of the page, click Install apps and select Microsoft 365 apps.

  3. Click Install Office to download Microsoft 365.

  4. Once downloaded, click the installer to begin the installation and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

  5. When you open Microsoft 365 for the first time (Microsoft Word for example), you'll be prompted to sign in. To sign in, type in your UMBC email address, click Next, and then log in to myUMBC. This licenses Microsoft 365 on your Windows device and completes the installation.
