How do I add Closed Captions into a Webex Webinar?
Important
Contact Damian Doyle prior to your event with details of the event’s title, date, and time to coordinate with UMBC's vendor to provide closed captioning. Individual attendees can also enable captions themselves by pressing the button marked CC in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
Once the Host starts the event the individual with the Presenter privilege can go to the top menu bar to select Show Menu Bar > Share > Share Multimedia.
A pop-up box will prompt you to enter a URL for a web page with multimedia content. Enter the URL provided by the closed captioning vendor.
The Multimedia Viewer will appear as a panel on the right side of the screen displaying the URL with closed captioning.
