Guest Accounts are temporary usernames and passwords distributed to non-UMBC patrons who wish to use the computers or WIFI in the Library. They can be generated at http://webadmin.umbc.edu/admin/Accounts/Temp/Aok . A login is required. If you are unable to log in to this page, ask the Student  Supervisor to add your name to the list of approved accounts.

To generate a guest account from this page, ask the patron for a photo ID, enter their name into the name field, and click Get Account. When the account page loads, print it out and give it to the patron.

Guest accounts are good until midnight of the day they are created.

If the guest account creation page is unavailable, there are a number of slips with generic guest account logins in the drawer beneath the center computer at the Circ desk.
