Circulation Student Manual - Timesheets

Student employee work hours are recorded both electronically and on paper. It is important that you remember to sign in and out and the beginning and end of every shift, and that you submit your electronic timesheets at the end of every other week.

Paper Timesheets

You should find these in your folder. If you do not have one at the start of a pay period, ask your supervisor for one. If your supervisor is not available, ask the Holds supervisor.

At the beginning of each shift, write the date and time on a new line of your timesheet, and then ask a staff member to initial it. Repeat this process at the end of your shift.

Electronic Timesheets

Electronic timesheets are available on the first day of the pay period. They must be submitted by the Monday after the last day of the pay period.

  1. Go to http://my.umbc.edu/go/timesheets.
