How to operate the AV system in Honors College room 216M

  • This room is very similar to standard classroom installations.

  • There are laptop HDMI adapters present, but please bring your own.
  • It's a shared space, so please leave it neater than you found it - the management greatly appreciates it.

Tell Me

  1. Press the Display ON button on the wall above the counter. Wait about 60 seconds until the ON light stops flashing.
  2. Press the button for the source you want to project and hear - Mac (installed), Laptop HDMI, DVD
  3. If using a laptop, connect to the HDMI cable (use an adapter if necessary). Change your laptop audio setting to EXTRON.
  4. The DVD (BluRay) player is located under the counter on the right side. Use the remote.
  5. Use the Volume knob on the control pad.
  6. Press OFF when done.
