How do I operate the FA011 Active Learning Room?

This guide describes basic room operation.
FA011 has many features not discussed in this article.
You may request a room demonstration by creating an RT ticket.
DoIT's Engineering 023 may also be reserved via RT for interactive projector practice.

Press either button on Start page to begin – allow 30 seconds for system to wake.
Select source from top row of Main control page. The center area will display the available source controls.
Press System Off when done.
There are three different room modes:
1. Presentation
  1. Instructor selected source appears on the local display, interactive projector, and rear confidence monitor #4.
  2. Used for traditional presentations.
2. Class Collaboration
  1. All flat panels display the instructor content.
  2. Intended for future collaboration device, shared Google Docs, Box, or other cloud services.
3. Group Collaboration
  1. Toggle each display between local group content and instructor content.
  2. Each group must connect to their local display via their HDMI cable.
The instructor station AV equipment includes:
1. Epson interactive projector
2. Dell PC with touch screen monitor
3. HDMI input cable for instructor laptop
4. Epson document camera
5. Sony Blu Ray player
6. Apple TV
7. Solstice wireless collaboration device
8. wireless microphones
Student stations have flat screen TV's with HDMI cables for local user's laptop.
Assisted listening receivers are available.
