Include Ally information on the syllabus and in Blackboard
Faculty are encouraged to include a statement about Ally within their course shell or syllabus to make students aware how and why they may wish to download one of Ally’s alt formats to meet their learning styles or needs. Here is one example:
Alternative file support: Available within all Blackboard courses, Ally creates alternative files that are easier to use by everyone. Download the alternative format that works for you -- anywhere those files are used, including from your mobile device.
Note: Ally does not scan files hosted in Box, Google Drive, or other sites external to Bb.
