Connect to the Home Volume (H: Drive)

  1. Go to the Finder

  2. Press Command-K

  3. In the dialog for the server address enter:

    smb://uservol.ad.umbc.edu/home/UMBC USERNAME

    (Optionally, You may want to add this path to your favorites by clicking on the plus button.)

  4. Now press the Connect button

Connect to the PeopleSoft Volume (P: Drive)

  1. Go to the Finder

  2. Press Command-K

  3. In the dialog for the server address enter:

    smb://peopvol.ad.umbc.edu/people

    (Optionally, You may want to add this path to your favorites by clicking on the plus button.)

  4. Now press the Connect button

Connect to the Department Share Volume (I: Drive)

  1. Go to the Finder

  2. Press Command-K

  3. In the dialog for the server address enter:

    smb://sharedvol.ad.umbc.edu/dept

    (Optionally, You may want to add this path to your favorites by clicking on the plus button.)

  4. Now press the Connect button

Fill out the fields in this dialog box. The Domain is AD. For the username use your UMBC username.

FYI- There is a delay between pressing OK, and your Active Directory drive mounting. That's normal.
