take images of:
M82 - The Cigar Galaxy
NGC4535 - The Lost Galaxy of Copeland

Startup
Opened dome approx. 9:45PM
Turned on fan/vent
connected cameras via sharpcap on data computer (dc)
opened phd2 and connected mount
opened dfmtcs, ascom, ts6 on control computer (cc)
flipped on drives, autodome, track, MTR DRIVER CHASIS and unlatched halt motors
installed asi294mm and filter wheel on-axis
Venus
found it, set object position, nice
Polaris
set object position, took a while was at an awkward angle
M82
found it and had to slew a bit to get it in picture
tried turning on autoguiding but phd2 kept crashing after clicking on a star
switching to phd2 trouble shooting after taking a few frames of m82
phd2 troubleshooting
problem description:
connecting equipment: works
begin looping: works
phd2 identifies star
click on star to begin looping: CRASHES
crashes after phd2 restart, cameras rebooted and when pc rebooted
solutions:
uninstalled phd2 v11, installed v10
still crashes
wait for another night to get help from connor
seems like a good idea
NGC4535
couldnt find it : (
closing up
closed dome
turned off fan/vent
disconnected and turned off everything
typical closing procedure
ToDo
fix phd2
look into fixing tracking if phd2 fix is unsuccessful
not leave things velcro'd open in the future
