Why are travel related e-mails stored and archived with the Travel System?



All communications/messages/e-mails that are sent automatically from the travel system, or initiated manually from the travel system are available from the “Communications” tab. The messages are stored within the Travel System for archival and audit purposes.

By default, a series of e-mails are automatically generated from Travel actions. Examples of actions include the creation of the Travel Pre-Approval and/or Reimbursement request, submitting for review, assignment changes, submitting to DocuSign, etc.

Use the “Show History”/”Hide History” button to toggle between showing all messages or hiding them. By default, they are initially suppressed. Most recent messages are displayed first. To see the content of the message, use the arrow on the right side of the row.
