How do I download & install Panopto?
UMBC will begin transitioning from Panopto to YuJa starting this fall. The migration will run through March 23, 2026, when access to Panopto will be officially retired.
Before you can begin recording, you will need to download/install the Panopto recorder to your computer. You can install the software on a PC or Mac.

Login to your Panopto. - https://umbc.hosted.panopto.com/
Click on the Green +Create button at the top left of the screen.
Click on Record a new session.
Click on Download Panopto.
Follow the download prompts & instructions to complete the installation.
