What is the Parent Participation Contract and why must I fill it out?

This is one of the forms that you need to fill out in order for your child to participate in the Upward Bound Program. By signing this document you are agreeing to commit yourself to each requirement listed on the form. You also are agreeing to release UMBC, as well as the Program and its staff, from any and all claims and liability for any damages or injuries that may be sustained. Furthermore, you are stating that you understand that should your child fail to comply with the contract they signed, it may result in a loss of Program entitlements, a family conference, or expulsion from the Program.
