What are the Status options in Smartsheet?

The Status column in project plans, reports, and dashboards uses color-coded options to reflect the current state of a project. The following status options are used to indicate project progress and condition:

• ⚪️ Not Started: Project has been identified but work has not yet begun.

• 🔵 New: Project is under review or approved but has not officially started yet.

• 🟢 In Progress: Project is on track and progressing.

• 🟡 Warning: Some issues are slowing the project down, but they are being monitored.

• 🟠 On Hold: Project has been placed on a hiatus, see status updates for details.

• 🔴 Off Track: Major issues are preventing progress, a recovery plan is needed.

• 🟣 Completed: Project is completed and has gone through closeout process.

• ⚫️ Canceled: Project has been canceled.
