Financial Aid

SA's Financial Aid module will greatly increase automation of awarding and disbursing student financial aid.  Another benefit is that we will be working with an integrated system which will tighten financial aid and institutional compliance. 
 

Progress

The Financial Aid team has completed a review of SA functionality.  We are in the process of prototyping the system and creating configuration and business process documentation.

Updates & Timeline

Awarding of financial aid and scholarships for the 2009/2010 academic year will be done in SA beginning with summer 2009.  We will be considered to be "live" in January of 2009 and we will begin to import students' 2009/2010 financial aid information from the Department of Education.  Financial aid packages for fall 2009 applicants will be available March 2009.
