Advising

The new myUMBC will include important advising features which will enable faculty and students to check academic progress.  In addition, a powerful degree audit system will be implemented that will provide up to date information on student progress toward completing the requirements for the degree.  The rollout will occur as follows:
 

  • Automated degree audit for general education requirements (GFR/GEP) in March 2009
  • Full degree audit for majors and November 2009
  • The ability to create "what-if" scenarios to compare degree completion status within various majors and minors coming soon.
