Starting from May 2011, we stop to process Government Document Weekly Reports

Reasons:

1. No longer need to claim any un-received microfiches or prints because almost all of those un-received titles have on-line accesses for UMBC users.  

2. The items and holdings of the documents are automatically loaded into Aleph system, which works very well.  

3. Gov. Doc. Serials – have one UMBC item and one UMBC holding, we do not add new items for every single issue.

Lynda Aldana has discussed this matter with Drew Alfgren and Daniel Gallaher at Reference, they have an agreement.
