If you work a shift of three or more hours, you can take a 15-minute break. If you work a shift of six or more hours, you must take a 30-minute meal break in addition to the optional 15-minute break.  If you work a shift of eight or more hours, you are allowed two 15-minute breaks in addition to the 30-minute meal break. These breaks are not to be combined, and cannot be taken at the beginning or end of your shift.
