How will I be informed of my graduation status?

The Registrar's Office will notify you by email of your initial graduation status and eligibility to attend commencement. However, you may also view your current graduation status anytime through myUMBC.

Important

Applying for graduation late may result in you not having your name printed in the University's Commencement Book.

Your official graduation status will only be determined after final grades and reviews have been completed. You will be notified of your final graduation status usually 2-4 weeks after final grades are posted to your official transcript..
