How do I create a myUMBC portal account?

You can use this account to track the status of your UMBC application. This account does NOT provide access to Blackboard or UMBC email.

1. Go to http://my.umbc.edu/account
2. Enter your Campus ID (e.g. AB12345) and select your date of birth using the drop-down menus.
3. Click Next
4. Create a strong password and enter it in the box labeled New Password 5. Confirm password previously entered in the box labeled Confirm Password 6. Enter a non-UMBC alternate email address in the box labeled Secondary Email 7. Confirm your alternate email address in the box labeled Confirm Email
8. Click Set Up Account You can now log in to myUMBC using your password and either the email address you provided or your UMBC Campus ID as your name.
