Before You Begin...
Class sections can be created as a student-specific permission class. This means that students cannot register for the class section unless they are given permission by the instructor. Only use this option if the instructor intends to give every student who wants to take the class permission to register for the class.

SA Tip
It is recommended that you select department consent and not instructor consent from the drop down. This will allow anyone within the department with proper access to provide consent to the student.
