(Nov. 23, 2009)

After scan a book barcode, you need to pay attention to:

1. Books with accompanying CDs - the items notes should be checked.

2. Do not label any book that has pam banding slip or book is not rigid enough to keep it standing upright; flag it for Mending and place it on the Rock Pile for pam binding.

3. Books with a volume number - check for the same v. numbers in the item.

4. Reference books - the item status should be 3.

5. If it is not a single item - should have an added volume/copy slip in the book.

6. Book size is larger than 26 cm. in any direction - should be FOLIO.

7. Found errors - send books to your supervisor.
