UMDPrint for labels

This is freeware from University of Minnesota used with Aleph.  Download--http://www.d.umn.edu/~kharriss/umdprintdownloads.html   Once downloaded to machine, Alephcom.ini file needs to be edited to address umdprint.  Aleph file location example

C:\Aleph_22_BC_Live\Alephcom\tab\Alephcom.ini

In section headed "PrintExecute" add following line as last line in section: LABEL_PRINT=C:\umdprint\umdprint.exe $1       Save and close

From within Aleph Cataloging module, set up label configurations, and printer profiles as needed.

For Collection prefix to show up at top of label, it must be defined in Aleph tables: File: mai50/tab/tab_label.eng   If labels are to be printed for a new collection, it must be defined in this table.  Request addition from CLAS at CP via the RX system.
