Answer
Current UMBC students, faculty and staff may use their campus ID card to check out books. Students, Faculty and staff from other University System of Maryland (USMAI) institutions may also use their campus ID card to check out books. UMBC also has reciprocal borrowing agreements with several area colleges. Other patrons may purchase a Special Borrowers card at the Check Out Desk. UMBC alumni can get special borrowers card for free by presenting their UMBC alumni card.
