How to Use a Permission Number when Registering for a Class

Before You Begin...
Permission numbers are provided to a student by an instructor when a student does not meet the prerequisites to take a class. Click here for additional information about class permissions.
Once a student is given a permission number, they must then use the number when registering for your class. If possible, you should also provide the student with your class number to expedite the registration process for the student and ensure they register for the correct class.
Step by Step
Follow the instructions for adding a class.
If the course is configured for permission numbers, a box to enter your permission number will be displayed on the enrollment options window.
Complete enrollment as described in the instructions for adding a class.
