Overview

The National Archives at Philadelphia holds original records of Federal agencys and Courts located in Maryland, as well as Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.  The records date from 1789 into the late 20th century.  Records of Baltimore Customs Office and the Maryland U.S. District Court are the earliest and most extensive records in our holdings.
