  • Academic LoadThe amount of credit hours a student will be expected to take or is taking. Examples: Full-Time, Part-Time, etc.
  • Academic OrganizationAcademic Departments. Example: Mathematics.
  • Academic PlanAn area of study that exists within an academic program or academic career. Legacy Term: Major, Minor, Certificate or Graduate Program. Examples: Bio Chemistry, Physics, Sociology, Gerontology.
  • Academic ProgramIn addition to an Academic Career and Academic Plan, each student is also attached to an Academic Program in SA.  Examples: UG Degree Seeking, UG Non Degree Seeking, Certificate Program, Grad Degree Seeking, Grad Non Degree Seeking.
  • Academic Sub-planAn area of specialization within an academic plan. Sub-plans must be tied to plans. Legacy Term: Concentration or Track. Examples: Clinical Psychology (within Human Services Psychology) or Literature Track (within English - BA).
  • Academic SubjectA subject is a grouping of courses that share similar subject matter. Examples: Accounting, French
  • Admit TypeIndicates the classification of admission for an application. Examples: TRN = Transfer, FRS = Freshman, PB = Post-Baccalaureate , etc.
