Effective Date — The date that SA uses to determine which row of information is active at a particular point in time. This usually defaults to today's date. It can be overridden, by an authorized user, to reflect a prior or future date. Effective dates ensure that the institution keeps a record of data changes. Examples: A student's permanent address changes as of a specific date or a course entered into the course catalog to be valid as of a specific date.
Empl ID — A nine-digit number assigned by SA to a prospect, applicant, student, faculty member or staff.
