EDS Links vs. SFX

EDS, as the previous section discusses ("categories of EDS links"), uses a variety of 'custom' and other links to access full-text content and  other destinations.  SFX - the Ex Libris link resolver - appears in Ebscohost databases and the catalog, and it follows a single-link model that relies on the extensive SFX knowledgebase.

To access the SFX knowledgebase/admin module, go to http://sfx.umd.edu/sfxadmin/bc .

Further instructions can be found in "In SFX" under "How to Add, Remove, or Edit E-Resources".

The content that EDS links appear for and connect to is controllable at a granular (package or title) level within EBSCO Holdings Management.  To access it, go here...

...and then you can get to individual titles or packages here ('Vendors' is less frequently useful):

Further instructions can be found in this documentation in "In EBSCO Holdings Management (HLM)", under "How to Add, Remove, or Edit E-Resources."
