What kinds of media materials can I check out from the library?

Answer

The media collection includes DVDs, CDs, VHS, and vinyl records that can be checked out by current UMBC students, staff, and faculty.

• Most items circulate for seven days (and all at no cost).

• Items can be checked out at the 1st floor Check Out desk and most can be taken outside the building for use.

• Fines will be charged for any materials returned after the due date.

• VHS and vinyl records are stored in the Media offices; contact us at mediastaff-group@umbc.edu for access.

You can browse our open stacks on the 2nd floor or search for specific titles using the catalog.
