Yes, you can share files in Box with someone outside of UMBC easily using one of the two methods below:
- Mouse over the file you’d like to share
- Click the Share link that appears
- Change the access type to "People With Link"
- In the new section, you’ll see a secure link to the file that lets the recipient view and download it.
Note: You can click on the advance settings and set an expiration date for the link and also permit (or not) downloading.
