Tell Me

  1. Access your Ultra course.
  2. Select the Roster from the Details & Actions menu on the left side of your course.



  3. A layer will open with a list of instructors, students, and other roles (if relevant) in your course.
  4. Find the user and click on the overflow menu (...) to Edit the Member Information.



  5. Select the updated role for the course.
  6. Click SAVE. The user's role will appear under the name.



    Depending on the role, the user's placement may also relocate on the roster (e.g., higher or lower on the list).

If a user is already in your course and you want to change their role:

  1. Under the Course Management section of the Course Menu, select the Control Panel.

  2. Click on Users and Groups.

  3. Select Users.

  4. Click on the contextual menu button (down-facing chevron) to the right of the name of the user whose role you wish to change, and select the Change User's Role in Course option.

  5. Choose a new role for the user.

  6. Click Submit.
