How much storage space does my Blackboard course have?

Each shell in Blackboard is restricted to a size limitation of 1GB or 1024MB. You will automatically receive the error notification from Blackboard each day if your course has exceeded the size limit and you will no longer be able to upload any additional items to your course. Additionally, a similar email will be sent as a warning when you course is nearing the limit, but not yet reached it. The warning is set at 900MB.

These quotas are necessary to properly manage storage resources and ensure adequate system performance.
