Faculty Self-Service Capabilities Lunch & Learn Workshop
This demonstration is designed for Faculty and Academic Staff who will be using the faculty self service functionality in SA. In response to the many questions around campus regarding what functionality will be available via the SA Faculty Center, we have developed this lunch & learn to demonstrate the capabilities that will be available via the myUMBC portal. This demonstration walks you through some of the administrative tasks a faculty member will perform in SA, such as student advising, granting permissions, viewing rosters, and posting student grades. Please note that this is not a training class, and will not provide an exact view of what the self-service portal will look like when SA is rolled out to the campus. This is a demonstration of the capabilities that will be available in March 2009.
